About

Control systems built for performance

Practical PLC-based control system engineering—programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, modifications, and support.

Company overview

NexumLaris is a founder-led industrial controls company focused on practical, field-ready automation support. We program, commission, troubleshoot, modify, and improve PLC-based systems across energy and process facilities.

NexumLaris was formed to provide responsive, technically capable control-system support without sacrificing documentation, maintainability, or honest communication about project scope. The company is built around practical field execution: understand the process, verify the system, document the work, and leave the facility supportable.

Our strength is field-ready work: maintainable control logic, dependable communications, practical operator interfaces, and documentation plant teams can use after turnover.

We focus on the platforms and applications where our experience can produce dependable results, and we approach every project with clear communication about scope and capabilities.

NexumLaris is led by Zachary Buchanan, an industrial controls professional with more than a decade of field experience in PLC and HMI programming, control-system modifications, communications integration, commissioning, instrumentation, and troubleshooting. Primary experience includes Allen-Bradley Logix and legacy controller families, FactoryTalk View, ABB SpiritIT Flow-X, Red Lion, ProSoft communications, Modbus, and EtherNet/IP, with additional working familiarity across Siemens, Totalflow, ROC, SCADAPack, and other customer-specific platforms.
